Isaac is a long-time friend of Glatt-Organics. He discovered a passion for agriculture and animal husbandry while studying abroad in England. Visiting farms throughout the country, he studied their best practices as he got to know the farmers and caretakers. He joined a family farm when he returned from school. Working on the farm, he heard that customers were looking for a simple, yet high-end natural, kosher bird. Isaac began to search for a way to ensure that a bird can live a good life that coexists with Glatt-Organic’s organic principles. Isaac made it his mission to raise chickens that, while not organic, were premium and worthy of Glatt-Organic’s label. It had to be raised without antibiotics, raised on small, sustainable family farms, and raised free-range with full access to sunshine and pastures to poke and scratch and do what chickens do. It also had to be processed kosher, to uphold Glatt-Organic’s signature quality and taste. It was quite a challenge, but Isaac finally made it happen. And it’s his pride and joy. In the search for a new kosher processor, Issac began conversations with the folks at Eberly Poultry Farms — the nation’s premier organic poultry brand. Both organic pioneers, the two companies shared the same high ideals and commitment to quality. They agreed to join forces, with Glatt-Organics stepping in to update Eberly’s facilities and processing to allow for kosher certification. With this new venture, Isaac’s Pride is pleased to offer consumers an exceptional kosher product. Every chicken is raised humanely on small, nonindustrial family farms, without any antibiotics. From sunup to sundown, the chickens can wander the pastures, feel the sunshine on their feathers or nap under a shady tree. It is mother nature at its best.
